Named after the vain queen and mother of Andromeda in Greek Mythology, Cassiopeia is a constellation of the northern sky easily recognized by a group of five bright stars forming a slightly irregular "W".

Next door is the Cepheus constellation, named after the mythical King Cepheus of Aethiopia, husband of Cassiopeia and father of Andromeda.
